Tables

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Conceptually tables are similar to columns. They can however have headers, borders and cells spanning over multiple columns/rows.

dd TDocDefinition

 dd.BeginContent()

  dd.AddContentProperty('layout', '"lightHorizontalLines"') ! optional

   ! headers are automatically repeated if the table spans over multiple pages

   ! you can declare how many rows should be treated as headers

  dd.BeginTable('"headerRows": 1, "widths": [ "*", "auto", 100, "*" ]')

      dd.BeginRow()

          dd.AddText('First'); dd.AddText('Second'); dd.AddText('Third'); dd.AddText('The last one')

      dd.EndRow()

      dd.BeginRow()

          dd.AddText('Value 1'); dd.AddText('Value 2'); dd.AddText('Value 3'); dd.AddText('Value 4')

      dd.EndRow()

      dd.BeginRow()

          dd.AddText('Bold value', '"bold": true'); dd.AddText('Val 2'); dd.AddText('Val 3'); dd.AddText('Val 4')

      dd.EndRow()

  dd.EndTable()
