CWPlus 3.02

CWPlus is the auxiliary integrated tool for Clarion for Windows IDE and allows to simplify manual coding essentially. CWPlus realizes analogues of the most important elements of Microsoft IntelliSense technology as applied to Clarion, such as:
the pop-up help about the identifier;
the help about the prototype of edited procedure;
the actual list of identifiers with an opportunity at any moment to choose the necessary identifier and to insert it into the text.

After inserting of CWPlus in your application you will be able everywhere quickly and in due time where manual input of already described labels, variable, procedures, functions and other names is required.

CWPlus gives you three information windows:

The identifier information window appears, when in editor Clarion you place the cursor of the mouse over the identifier. The information will contain a brief information about this identifier.

The prototype information window appears when you enter a name of procedure and after enter a symbol '(' in the embed editor or in any Clarion IDE dialogue. The information contains a brief information about prototype that will help you to orient with parameters of procedure. The information will be visible while you will not enter a closing symbol ')' or will not change the current line in the editor. If for procedure several variants of a call are possible it is possible to choose the necessary variant having used buttons of a choice of a variant. Quick scrolling of variants also allowed with the hot key Alt+LeftKey (scroll back) and Alt+RightKey (scroll forward).

The identifiers list appears when in the embedded editor or any Clarion IDE dialogue you enter a symbol allowable for the identifier or apply at recording the identifier such symbols, as ':', '_', '?' or '.' The Information will contain the data filtered according to your input. You can always proceed in information window (it is possible to use DownKey) to choose the identifier necessary to you and quickly to insert it into the text. You also can call information window for not completely entered identifier, for this purpose place the cursor of input at the end of such identifier and press Alt+DownKey.  
PopBox information window. It is the most important information window, it gives access to any identifiers described in your program:  
local, modular and global variables;  
identifiers of constants (system and described in the program);  
properties and methods of objects;  
fields of the files, groups, queues with any level of the nesting.  

The identifiers list contains the data filtered according to your input. You can always proceed in PopBox (it is possible to use DownKey) to choose the identifier necessary to you and quickly to insert it into the text or entry field of Clarion IDE dialogue.

And also CWPlus allows:
To format a source code in the Clarion IDE editor.
To present the edited text as structure (Source Map) with an opportunity to expand or contract a branch of conditional operators (IF, CASE, LOOP and other), execute complex search, quickly jump to any line of the code.

Clarion IDE customizing
You can select directory with the icons which will be used in Clarion IDE on the controls like BUTTON, CHECK, RADIO, IMAGE. The following algorithm is used: if the icon with the same name as a standard presents in this directory then this icon will be used to substitute the standard icon.
CWPlus shipped with one set of the icons (Images\CWPlus.001.Small directory):
You can create your own icons sets and share it with your Clarion colleagues! Send it to us and we will publish it (with your permission) on our site.


The Clarion Runner is an extended version of the Pick List of Clarion. Like the standard Pick dialog the Clarion Runner lists all the most recently used files in a list box categorized by Application, Dictionary, Project, Database, Clarion Source, and All and allows:  
run Clarion IDE with the file you selected;
create and adjust of the specific environment of the application (RED, TRF files), so you can open different Applications with the different set of Templates and RED files. OR you can open two instances of Clarion IDE with the different Applications but without using of "Multi user development" check box;
to form the list of "Favorites" in any category: Application, Dictionary, Project, Database, Clarion Source.

For the use CWPlus the following is needed:
Clarion 5.0b, Clarion 5.5F and Clarion 6.1-6.2-6.3
ABC, Legacy class template support

With the Trial version of CWPlus you can evaluate all possibilities of our product with unique limitation: CWPlus Populate Box will be called no more than 20 times during one session of Clarion. To remove all limitation you should register the program.

One developer license
You  can  install  CWPlus only on 1 developer computer  and for any versions of the Clarion. If you need to  install  CWPlus on more than one developer computer you must buy additional license.
